Sometimes we just need to remember to rest.

I have been very busy lately and unfortunately my housekeeping has suffered.My Bed and Breakfast needs "room service!" So to rejuivinate I escaped outdoors!

I am pleased to find that my outdoor living space has taken on its own flair. I have tulips and spring flowers erupting from patches of promised hope planted last year! In the meantime I purchased a Vintage Seatee' for my Becky Garden today and am committing to getting in the garden and playing with the seeds of hope for the next season of surprises! Sunflowers are at the top of my list! I also will start having my daily devotions  on my new bench and enjoy the beautiful outdoor ambiance! Remembering to bloom where I'm planted.

Today marks a milestone in my timeline of life. I am recalling the favor and blessings that have helped make me a woman with new eyes and ambitions. My motto has always been to try and make the best of each opportunity. I won't lie I am a woman who likes activity and action!( I took a Federal Government job and left my non profit postion on this day in 2009)  So as today is a marker in a time that changed my destiny. I embrace the new horizons and plan for the new placement of my time and passion! I have a meeting this afternoon with a colleague who is running for a local office. I have been studying and preparing for the right moment to run myself.I even graduated from a leadership program called "If not you than who?" As I had been on this reprieve I know that we are ready to "rock this city with new leadership." My turn in line to run is in the future but in the meantime I will be busy helping my friend with her campaign and learning all I can and following my heart in this journey of life!
